Salary: $73,299 – $80,410 p.a.


The Data Officer will work in conjunction with Science Technical Support Staff both at Head Office, and aboard the Australian Antarctic Division’s new icebreaker RSV Nuyina, to ensure that data streams from sensors are appropriately collected, organised and stored on disk and in databases; ensuring that appropriate quality assurance and quality control checks are performed on the data and assisting with transferring data from the vessel into AADC repositories. Developing software scripts to assist with data management tasks will also be required.
