Traverse Capability Project Officer

Salary: $99,734 – $112,044 per annum

Duties:

The Traverse Capability Project Officer supports the planning, delivery, and sustainment of Australia’s inland, over-snow traverse capability and mobile inland station operations.

The role supports the large-scale inland traverse consisting of a range of modified heavy plant and multi-sled systems, while contributing to the deployment and operation of a range of remote camp infrastructure

The role work closely with the permanent head office team, the seasonal expeditioners and our vendors to deliver short to long term season planning and implementation.

Australia's inland traverse capability is a key enabler for strategic scientific research and logistics throughout Antarctica.
