Salary: $91,944 – $104,393 per annum

Duties:

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Expeditioner Capability and Training.

As a Business Process Analyst, you will evaluate current organisational processes to identify inefficiencies, document findings, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement changes, ensuring alignment with section objectives and fostering effective communication. Your role is crucial in driving process optimisation and achieving strategic goals through mapping current and future processes.

General responsibilities of the role

  • Collect information/ data from stakeholders and relevant personnel regarding ineffective or inefficient processes.
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Oversee new procedures, system changes and technology integration to ensure implementation, working alongside the department’s ICT teams.
  • Collaborate with management to create and document new processes through process mapping for future use.
  • Reviewing processes in a continuous improvement cycle to test ongoing effectiveness
  • Create documentation that ensures processes are being appropriately followed throughout the team.
